-- WRESTLER INFO --
RING NAME: "The Dream Maker" KERRY Millano.
REAL NAME: Millano, Kerry S.
HEIGHT: 6'5"
WEIGHT: 239 lbs.
HOMETOWN: Yonkers, Westchester, New York.
DATE OF BIRTH: 25th, December 1981.
ALIGNMENT: Open To Interpretation (Traditionally Heel).
WRESTLING STYLE: His style, above all else, revolves mainly around his ability to systematically perform wrestling techniques on opponents. Being trained as a technician, for years without end, has made his ring awareness a become incredibley reliable asset while competing. His ability to stick moves, sell strikes, and endure, as well as deliver, damaging punishment to his opponents have made him somewhat of a paragon of a "main-event" wrestler. Notoreity gained in the West comes from performing like Japanese wrestlers, effectively, earning him the monikers "Mr. Puroresu" and "The Man of 1,000 Signatures." He delivers moves and strikes, alike, incredibly stiffly in order to please crowds and achieve the feel of an actual sporting event rather than an energetic soap opera.
Though he is an official wrestling "heavyweight", he abandoned the heavyweight style emphasized in West, that involved replicated power moves and brawler strikes, to become more intimate with the aerial junior heavyweight (Cruiserweight) wrestling and Muay Thai striking. While performing on the Puroresu circuit, he found that using his strength for strikes and innovative maneuvers "puts asses in seats". This led to his nickname in the Puroresu circuit, " Za Dori-mu Me-ka (The Dreammaker)", attributed by Japanese commentators due to his constant insertion of prototype signatures performed during training, some only used once.
He also became notorious for the fact that he, contrary to other Western wrestlers, discarded an established finisher. Though he tends to favor certain moves and could be considered his "finisher", he surprises crowds with these maneuvers for weeks without end.
But as we all know, with grace comes flaws and everywhere wrestler isn't perfect. One of KERRY's biggest flaws would be the fact that, while he is a very adept Muay Thai striker, he still borders himself with the rules of professional wrestling due to his background. He will not throw closed fist punches, which are illegal in professional wrestling, and, instead, substitutes them for the less powerful "chop".
Also, KERRY, obviously, isn't the largest wrestler in the world and that can put a dampening on some of his more innovative technical techniques (his primary style). This is when he starts using his Muay Thai, showing tremendous striking skills, but also forcing him to divert to using his lesser-honed, but not mediocre, Aerial skills.
APPEARANCE:
RING ATTIRE:
ENTRANCE MUSIC: An instrumental loop of MCR's "Welcome to the Black Parade" that plays from the beginning to 1:46 and repeats.
RING ENTRANCE:
Lights in the arena fell to noir before a single spotlight fell atop the entrance ramp to reveal KERRY Millano, towel draped over his head, and the subsequent chime of a single piano key before it's spaced out follow-ups began. The fans knew who it was and what it was time for. Pure intensity that no other man could ever be on par with. From a wide above angle to the left of the entrance, the camera continued to roll. The audible murmurs of anxious fans would slowly begin to drown out as more instruments began to incorporate with the melody. The paradeful cadence of the marching band drum began to incline the tone until the crying of electric guitar riffs slowly crept into play (0:50).
BOOM!
From the EMPIREtron, the ivory pyrotechnic explosion triggered the lights to liven while KERRY lifted his head quickly, snatching off the towel from his head, and gazing on the multitude of individuals watching. In homage to Billie Jean, as his pace began down the aisle, a column lit up as he stepped on it with a simultaneously golden pyrotechnic explosion shooting skyward to accompany the column's illumination. In ten paces he was at the bottom of the ramp and leaping onto the apron in a single-legged kneel. From there he catapulted himself over the top rope in a front somersault, a tribute to his prowess as an agile wrestler despite his size.
Enthusiastically, he ran to the ring ropes to spring himself, not the middle one, but the top. With arms raised to the air, crossed at the wrists in "X" fashion, he stood statuesque amongst the thousands of camera flashes before leaping off to the center of the ring and starting toward a corner. Pacing about the extremity, almost impatiently, he waited.
HISTORY:
KERRY Millano is a veteran in the game since a youth.
And, unlike Bret, he never tried to attend some queer college, making him the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
